Member Spotlight: Chris Martinez, DENVER
Chris Martinez is the founder of Vaquero Digital Services, a software company dedicated to solving problems for individuals and businesses. Vaquero Digital Services' flagship product is Time Wrangler, a web-based meeting scheduling application designed to solve the problem of going back-and-forth to try to schedule a meeting by automatically finding times that meeting participants are available.
Chris is a Colorado Native, born and raised in Denver. He honed his software development skills at BrightBean, a boutique software shop in Denver where he served as Operations Manager for several years before amicably departing and founding Vaquero. Chris served for 6 years in the Colorado Army National Guard, where he came to the conclusion that he wanted to be a programmer when he was deployed overseas in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and was making websites for bands back home in Denver to pass the time. After leaving the Army, Chris earned a bachelor's degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver in Computer Information Systems.
Chris and Vaquero Digital Services are excited to work with the 4GenNow team, and look forward to working with persons from a spectrum of generational backgrounds to expand Vaquero's problem solving capacity and help others with their endeavors as well.
