Our mission at 4GenNow is promoting the building of intergenerational teams to create powerful collaborations in bringing needed products and services to market.

Because of our strong belief in intergenerational collaboration, we are sponsoring a team of four intergenerational ultra-cyclists to compete in what’s been called, “the toughest race in the world,” the 3,000-mile Race Across America starting on June 15, 2019 in Oceanside, California.

Racers ride across 12 states, climb over 170,000 vertical feet and cross the finish line about nine days later in Annapolis, Maryland. And we want you to come along for the ride!

Your Donations support...

  • Logistics - Now through June 26th our team will be traveling on planes, trains and automobiles and resting on beds, benches and seats.  

  • RAAM Transportation

    • For the race we will be leapfrogging across the country in a Sprinter Van, as the pace vehicle, a Motor Coach as home base and a few hotel luxuries along the way.

  • Training Camps

    • May is an all hands on deck, 4 riders - 4 crew members - 1 crew chief,  dress rehearsal on the steep slopes of Colorado's Gore Pass . At both camps the team will be living in full immersion of each other's company while training, resting, eating, sleeping.  

  • Equipment -

    • Soft Goods - For training and racing each riders will be equipped with 4 Cycling Jerseys/Bibs/Caps/ 2 Sets of Arm Covers and gloves / multitude of Socks  and more.

    • Hard Goods - while each rider is supplying their own bicycle the 8 months of training and 3,000 miles of racing across 12 state and over 175,000 feet of climbing each rider will consume several chains, cables, cassettes, tires, and more.

  • Team Preparation

    • Preparation for this endeavor is critical to building rider fitness and crew cohesion. From the riders working with Professional Coaches to the crew honing their support craft; training for this event will covers

      • Coaching

        • The riders are each working with a USAC certified cycling coach along with a ISSA strength coach. A day by day / week by week / structured plan ensuring our riders will attain maximal fitness for riding across the country.

      • Training Rides

        • The team will be training in a variety of settings from braving the elements outdoor, complete with vehicle support, to spinning it up at an indoor ride studio Indoor Ride Studio and Virtual Riding (The GenX riders lives in England, he will be joining the Colorado based generations.  

      • Training Camps

        • Simulation is the best practice when preparing for a challenge of this magnitude. Therefore the riders and crew members will be embarking on 2 multi-day training camps. At these camps the riders and crew will gain a greater understanding of what to expect

      • Nutrition

        • What we eat before, during and after rides is critical to the effectiveness of each 4GenNow RAAM team member. Donation dollars will support Training Supplements, training camp and race meals.   

      • Recovery

        • In order to Maximize the recovery process team members will be utilizing sports medicine modalities ranging from Compression Boots, Massage Therapy, Cryotherapy, Physical Therapy, etc.

  • Documentation

    • The story that is being told by 4GenNow will resonate across the country via the multitude of media streams.

      • RAAM Riders/Crew

        • With a Team of 9 brand champions, 4 Riders - 4 Crew - 1 Crew Chief, we are documenting daily moments of our journey.

      • Videographer

        • Your brand will be properly represented by our professional videographer. From training to finish line all aspects of the journey will be  curated utilizing video's, live streaming, and still imagery

      • Live Stream

        • Along this journey we will be hosting live streaming events from Indoor Training sessions to Training Camps and on the road during the 2019 RAAM. Through Live Streaming will be connecting with 4GenNow partners and their audience.
